Doma

The ever-smiling Upper Moon Two who leads the Eternal Paradise Cult and devours the followers who worship him

Upper Moon TwoEternal Paradise CultBlood Demon Art: IceCult Founder

About

Doma is Upper Moon Two of the Twelve Kizuki, the highest-ranked demon beneath Kokushibo alone, and the founder, leader, and living god of the Eternal Paradise Cult. Born more than a century before the Taisho era with strange rainbow-colored eyes and a face that never learned to frown, he was revered as a divine child by his parents' followers long before he understood what worship even meant — and when both of his parents died in front of him, he felt nothing at all. At the age of twenty he met Muzan Kibutsuji, accepted the demon's blood with casual curiosity, and began a hundred-year ritual of "salvation" in which lost, grieving humans are welcomed into his cult, comforted sincerely, and then devoured, because he genuinely believes that being absorbed into his flesh is the happiest ending a person can have.

That serene, smiling hollowness is exactly what makes him so dangerous. Doma's Blood Demon Art commands absolute cold: glittering freezing mist that solidifies lungs, gardens of razor-edged ice lotus, and flawless replicas of himself sculpted from ice, all guided by a pair of heavy iron war fans he wields with devastating grace. He cannot taste food, cannot feel fear, and cannot mourn his victims, yet he mimics warmth so convincingly that thousands of desperate people followed him willingly into the dark. Among the countless lives he consumed were Kanae Kocho, the Flower Hashira and elder sister of Shinobu, and Kotoha, the gentle young mother of Inosuke — two deaths that would eventually return to him in the Infinity Castle with fatal interest.

Abilities

Blood Demon Art: Absolute Ice

Doma's cryokinetic Blood Demon Art conjures vast winter in an instant: floors that become frozen lakes, walls of solid frost, and glittering chambers of ice that turn the battlefield itself against his prey.

Freezing Mist

By exhaling a glittering cloud of super-cooled air, he fills the air around him with frost that flash-freezes the lungs of anyone who inhales it — a silent, inescapable trap for anyone forced to breathe near him.

Twin Iron Fans

A pair of heavy metal war fans extend his reach and sharpen every gesture, launching razor gusts of wind and crescent arcs of ice that can carve through pillars and flesh alike.

Ice Replicas

He sculpts flawless ice copies of himself — complete with his techniques, his smile, and his speed — allowing him to fight on several fronts at once and deceive even elite demon slayers.

Immense Speed & Regeneration

More than a century of devouring humans has made his body absurdly durable: severed limbs regrow in moments, broken bones knit mid-stride, and his reflexes keep pace with the fastest Hashira alive.

Devouring Absorption

Anything absorbed into his body becomes part of him, adding its strength to his own. He once used this power to swallow an entire opponent — never suspecting that her poisoned flesh would become the weapon that destroyed him.

Notable battles

Decades before the final war, Doma cut down Kanae Kocho, the eldest of the Kocho sisters, and later devoured Kotoha while her infant son escaped only by falling into a river — the origin of the boar-headed boy's feral hatred of demons. When the Infinity Castle descended into the last great battle, the Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho confronted him first and, knowing she could not win, let him absorb her body, which was saturated with a lethal concentration of wisteria poison. Kanao Tsuyuri and Inosuke Hashibira then pressed him together: the poison already drowning his blood dulled his regeneration, Kanao's final form opened his guard, and their combined strike severed his head. Even then Upper Moon Two refused to simply die, attempting to reshape his flesh and dissolve the poison — but the dose was absolute, and the smiling god of the Eternal Paradise Cult crumbled to dust feeling something unfamiliar on his face. His ashes had barely settled when, deeper within the same shifting fortress, the war reached its true climax — the battle in which Tanjiro Kamado and the surviving Hashira dragged Muzan Kibutsuji himself into the sunrise.
