About
Muichiro Tokito is the youngest Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, a quiet and absent-minded boy who holds the rank of Mist Hashira. A descendant of the legendary swordsman Yoriichi Tsugikuni, he lost his parents and his twin brother Yuichiro as a child, and the trauma wiped away most of his memories.
Despite that, his talent is staggering. He picked up a sword for the first time and became a Hashira in just two months, creating his own Mist Breathing from Sun Breathing roots. Cold and distant at first, he slowly rediscovered his kindness through Tanjiro and the people around him, and in the end gave everything in the fight against the Upper Moons.
Abilities
Mist Breathing
A style he created himself. Forms like Low Clouds, Distant Haze and Obscuring Clouds use deceptive, shifting movements that blur the opponent's sense of distance.
Genius Swordsmanship
A natural prodigy with extraordinary talent, he reached Hashira level after only two months of training with a blade.
Demon Slayer Mark
The mark awakens on his forehead during the Swordsmith Village arc, greatly boosting his power, though it comes at the cost of a shortened lifespan.
Transparent World
A state of perfect awareness that lets him read his opponent's body and intent and react to every movement before it happens.
Speed & Precision
Among the fastest swordsmen in the Corps, his clean and exact cuts let him end fights before opponents can respond.
Strategic Mind
Calm and analytical in battle, he adapts quickly and sees through enemy tricks even under heavy pressure.
Notable battles
Muichiro's clash with Upper Moon Five, Gyokko, in the Swordsmith Village awakened his Mark and his memories, proving his place among the strongest. In the Infinity Castle he stood alongside Genya and the Hashira against Upper Moon One, Kokushibo, the strongest demon beneath Muzan, and fought on with unwavering resolve until his final breath.
