About
Knov is a Conjurer Hunter recruited by Chairman Netero as the infiltration and extraction specialist of the Chimera Ant strike team. Calm, bespectacled, and unfailingly professional, he is the one who scouts the layout of the Royal Palace of East Gorteau and prepares the escape route the entire team will rely on during the Palace Invasion. His ability to conjure portals into a personal pocket dimension is the only reason the team can mount a surprise attack at all — and the only reason they have any chance of getting out alive.
But Knov is also the member of the team most scarred by what the Royal Guards are. On a solo reconnaissance mission near the Palace, the murderous En of Shaiapouf washes over him, and the sheer malice of that aura breaks something inside him. His hair turns white overnight. He loses his nerve, retreats from the front line, and never fully returns to combat — yet, at the moment the team needs him most, he risks everything one last time to open the portals that let them escape the Palace with their lives.
Abilities
Hide and Seek
Conjures dimensional portals on any flat surface, leading to a network of rooms only he controls. He can use them to teleport, store objects and people, or split a battlefield in half.
Scream
A close-range offensive application of his portals: he opens a portal directly on his target and slices off whatever passes through it — a clean cut that bypasses defense entirely.
Portal Surveillance
Knov can place portals in safe locations and observe through them, letting the team scout the Palace from outside without ever exposing themselves.
Logistics & Extraction
His pocket dimension doubles as the team's hospital, armory, and escape route, becoming the backbone of the entire Palace Invasion plan.
Notable battles
Knov's defining clash is not a fight — it is the reconnaissance mission where Shaiapouf's En finds him outside the Palace walls. He survives, but the experience shatters his will to fight and turns his hair white. He later returns during the Palace Invasion to extract wounded allies through Hide and Seek, and in the aftermath uses Scream to dispatch a weakened Chimera Ant officer. His role is rarely loud, but every major move the strike team makes during the Invasion depends on the portals he put in place before the first blow was ever thrown.
