About
Sakazuki, known as Akainu, is the Fleet Admiral of the Marines and one of the most feared figures in the world. A former Admiral, he rose to the highest rank in the Marines after the great war at Marineford and now commands the whole organization.
Cold, stern, and utterly uncompromising, Akainu follows a belief he calls Absolute Justice, where any pirate who might become a threat must be destroyed, no matter the cost. This harsh creed makes him a respected leader to some and a terrifying enemy to nearly everyone else.

Akainu's most defining moment comes at the war of Marineford, where he fights Whitebeard's crew and delivers a shocking blow to Portgas D. Ace. Later, he faces Aokiji in a ten-day duel on Punk Hazard to decide who would become Fleet Admiral, a fight that reshapes the Marines and cements his place at the top.
