About
Kalluto Zoldyck is the youngest son of Silva and Kikyo Zoldyck, and the second-youngest child overall after Alluka. Often mistaken for a girl because of his long kimono, hair ornaments, and soft voice, Kalluto is quiet, observant, and almost eerily composed for his age. He speaks in measured, polite sentences, watches his siblings' movements with sharp eyes, and carries out his family's work with a calm that resembles his grandfather Zeno more than his volatile older brother Milluki.
Within the Zoldyck hierarchy Kalluto is often overlooked. His mother Kikyo dotes on Killua, his father barely notices him, and Illumi treats him as a peripheral tool. Yet Kalluto is, in many ways, the family member most quietly obsessed with restoring it. His stated motivation for joining the Phantom Troupe is not loyalty to Chrollo or interest in the Troupe's crimes — it is a single, personal goal: to bring Killua back to the family. The Troupe is simply the most powerful vehicle he could find to chase that goal.
In combat Kalluto fights with paper — confetti-like slips he controls through Manipulation Nen. He shreds them into a swarm, sharpens them into blades, and even uses them to eavesdrop on conversations from a distance. Despite his small frame and gentle appearance, he was strong enough to be recruited as the fourth member of the Phantom Troupe, filling the seat Hisoka vacated — a position that demands a level of strength most adult Hunters never reach.
Abilities
Paper Manipulation
His signature Nen ability. He controls countless slips of paper as a swarm — tracking targets with them, shredding them into bladed projectiles, and forming them into defensive walls.
Dance of the Serpent's Bite
An offensive technique where his paper slips converge on a target from multiple angles at once, slashing in a coordinated pattern that mimics the strike of a serpent.
Paper Eavesdropping
A subtle surveillance application — a single paper slip placed near a target lets him listen to distant conversations through Nen, gathering intelligence without ever being seen.
Manipulation Nen
His natural Nen category, the same as Illumi's. Where Illumi uses it on people, Kalluto uses it on objects — a cleaner, more precise expression of the same family talent.
Notable battles
Kalluto's most significant appearance is during the Chimera Ant arc, where he joins the Phantom Troupe on a mission to hunt Chimera Ants that have begun killing in Meteor City. There he fights alongside Feitan, Phinks, and Shizuku — and confesses, mid-mission, that he only joined the Troupe to find a way to retrieve Killua from Gon. In combat he demonstrates his Paper Manipulation against multiple Chimera Ant officers, holding his own despite being the youngest and smallest member of the squad. Earlier in the series he briefly appears during the Zoldyck Family arc as one of the siblings Gon and his friends must bypass to reach Killua, hinting at his quiet competence long before his Troupe membership is revealed.
