About
Giyu Tomioka is the Water Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, a quiet, solitary swordsman who rarely speaks more than he has to. He is the one who found Tanjiro and Nezuko on Mount Sagiri after the massacre, chose to spare Nezuko when she showed she would not attack humans, and sent Tanjiro to train under Sakonji Urokodaki.
Haunted by the loss of his sister Tsutako and his close friend Sabito, Giyu believes he does not deserve to stand beside the other Hashira. Over time he opens up, sheds that self-doubt, awakens the Demon Slayer Mark and becomes one of the strongest pillars of the Corps in the final battle against Muzan.
