About
Franky, born Cutty Flam, is the shipwright of the Straw Hat Pirates, a cyborg with a loud heart and a powerful sense of loyalty. Taken in as a boy by the legendary shipwright Tom of Water 7, he devoted his life to his mentor’s dream: building a ship that can sail the entire world.
After Tom’s arrest, Franky built his own body as a cyborg and led the Franky Family, until Luffy’s crew arrived. He joined to build the Thousand Sunny, and has been the crew’s craftsman, mechanic, and reliable fighter ever since. Loud, sentimental, and endlessly cheerful, Franky is the crew’s heart of steel.
