About
Daki is a demon and the Upper Rank Six of the Twelve Kizuki, serving Muzan Kibutsuji. In the Entertainment District she lives as Kyogoku-ya's most celebrated oiran, hiding her cruelty behind beauty and charm while she feeds on the people who fall under her spell.
Born into poverty as a human girl named Ume, she was sold to the pleasure district and learned early that the world rewards beauty and punishes weakness. Turned into a demon alongside her brother Gyutaro, she became proud, spoiled and merciless, and the two of them share a bond that defines everything they do — in life, in battle and in death.
Abilities
Blood Demon Art: Obi
Living sashes hidden in her kimono that she controls freely. They cut, pierce and bind, and can stretch across entire streets.
Absorbing Humans
She stores captured humans inside her obi, keeping them alive as a reserve of strength and food.
Regeneration
Her demon body heals almost instantly from slashes and wounds, forcing slayers to reach her neck to end the fight.
Enhanced Physical Power
Upper Moon speed and strength let her tear through buildings and overpower trained Demon Slayers.
Obi Control
Each sash moves independently, letting her attack from many directions, shield herself and trap targets at once.
Link with Gyutaro
She and her brother share a single fate: her head can only truly be defeated if his is taken at the same time.
Notable battles
Daki's fight against Tengen Uzui, Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke in the Entertainment District pushed the Demon Slayer Corps to the edge. After revealing her true form, she and Gyutaro overwhelmed their opponents until Tanjiro and the others finally beheaded both siblings at the same time, ending the arc.
