About
Sabo is the chief of staff of the Revolutionary Army and the second-in-command to Monkey D. Dragon. Born into a noble family in the Goa Kingdom, he rejected the life that was expected of him and found true brotherhood with Luffy and Ace, with whom he swore a bond that lasted a lifetime.
After an attack on his ship in his youth, Sabo was believed dead, but Dragon rescued him and he lost his memories for years. When he later learned of Ace's death, his memories returned, and he took up Ace's will, carrying on the fight for freedom as one of the most trusted and capable leaders of the Revolutionary Army.
