About
Marco, known as "Marco the Phoenix", is the commander of the first division of the Whitebeard Pirates and one of Whitebeard's most trusted sons. Laid-back and sharp-witted, he often looks half-asleep, but he is one of the strongest pirates in the New World, and the crew leans on his calm judgment in the toughest moments.
Marco's power comes from the Mythical Zoan fruit that lets him become a phoenix, and his loyalty to Whitebeard and his family runs even deeper. After the loss at Marineford, he carried on the legacy of his captain, protecting the surviving crew and keeping the memory of his father alive.
