About
Alluka Zoldyck is the youngest child of Silva and Kikyo Zoldyck, kept locked away in a sealed vault beneath the family estate for most of her life. The reason for her isolation is something the rest of the family refuses to name plainly: Alluka shares her body with a second entity they call Nanika ("Something"), an otherworldly presence capable of granting any wish — and punishing anyone who refuses its demands with death. To the Zoldyck patriarchs, she is less a daughter than a weapon stored under heavy guard.
Within the family, only Killua treats Alluka as a person. He calls her by her name, plays with her, and remembers the child behind the curse — the little girl who asks for hugs and giggles when patted on the head. To Killua, Nanika is also a person, and a precious one: he addresses her gently, thanks her, and refuses to treat her as a tool. This bond is the entire reason the Election Arc's rescue mission exists — Killua breaks Alluka out of the vault to use Nanika's power to save Gon, and refuses to let his family reclaim her afterward.
Canonically Nanika is heavily implied to be an Ai, one of the calamities from the Dark Continent — a being of pure desire and codependence. This makes Alluka both a Zoldyck child and a vessel for one of the world's most dangerous entities, two identities fused into one small body. Her story is one of the few threads of genuine warmth inside the cold machinery of the Zoldyck family.
Abilities
Nanika Wish Granting
When Alluka's eyes go black, Nanika surfaces and can grant any wish asked of her — healing, wealth, power, even resurrection — provided the Three Wish Rules are followed.
Three Wish Rules
After granting a wish, Nanika asks for "requests" of escalating difficulty. Refuse three times in a row, and she kills you and everyone nearby — the safety lock on her power.
Healing Touch
Nanika can heal injuries that should be impossible to recover from, as shown when she restored Gon after his self-destructive transformation against Neferpitou.
Killua's "Command"
As the person Alluka loves most, Killua can bypass the wish-and-request system entirely and simply command Nanika to act without consequences — a privilege no other family member possesses.
Notable battles
Alluka herself is not a fighter — her power is invoked, not wielded. Her most pivotal "battle" is the breakout arc, in which Killua smuggles her out of the Zoldyck vault under Illumi's watch, dodges assassination attempts by Tsubone and other family agents, and travels across the country to reach Gon. The climax is not a clash of fists but a clash of wills: Killua commands Nanika to heal Gon, refuses to hand Alluka back to the family, and walks away with her — the first Zoldyck child to successfully break the family's grip without violence.
