About
A is the Fourth Raikage of Kumogakure, the Hidden Cloud Village, and the older brother and lifelong guardian of Killer Bee — the jinchuriki of the Eight-Tails. Born to the Third Raikage, he was raised from childhood to be both his father's successor and the protector of whichever child the village selected as the Eight-Tails' next jinchuriki. When that child turned out to be a boy named Bee, the two forged a bond deeper than blood — becoming the legendary Double Lariat duo that no enemy in Kumogakure's history could defeat. As Raikage, A is a mountain of muscle wrapped in lightning, ruling his village with an iron fist and a heart that bleeds for the brother he is sworn to protect. After the Akatsuki captured Bee (or so he believed), A declared war on the criminal organization personally — and when the Fourth Great Ninja War broke out, the five Kage unanimously chose him as Supreme Commander of the entire Allied Shinobi Forces, the only leader whose combination of power, ruthlessness, and unwavering loyalty they trusted to lead a world war.

Lightning Release Chakra Mode
The signature technique of Kumogakure's Raikage lineage — cloaks his entire body in lightning-style chakra, multiplying his speed, reflexes, and durability to a level that rivals the Yellow Flash himself.
Lightning Oppression Horizontal Chop
His signature finishing move — drops onto the enemy from above with a guillotine-style chop wrapped in lightning, strong enough to decapitate a Susanoo ribcage.
Iron Claw
A simple but brutal grip he uses to discipline Bee — grabbing the target's face and crushing it with raw lightning-amplified strength, a technique that works on friend and foe alike.
Double Lariat

Notable battles
A's defining fights span the entire second half of the series. As a younger man he fought Minato Namikaze, the Yellow Flash, in a duel of the two fastest shinobi in history — a battle so legendary that Minato declared no shinobi he had ever faced was more powerful. Years later, when Sasuke Uchiha infiltrated the Kage Summit to assassinate Danzo, A confronted him in a blind rage — losing his left arm to Sasuke's Amaterasu but nearly killing the Uchiha with a single Lightning Oppression chop. He led the Allied Shinobi Forces as Supreme Commander throughout the Fourth Great Ninja War, commanding the entire world's military from the front lines against the White Zetsu army, the reanimated Kage, and finally Madara Uchiha himself. In the war's climactic moments, the five Kage together faced a reanimated Madara in single combat — and A, refusing to retreat even after his lightning armor was pierced, fought on with one arm against the legendary Uchiha until Tsunade's intervention saved them.
