About
Kaido, known as "Kaido of the Beasts," is the towering Governor-General of the Beasts Pirates and one of the Four Emperors who ruled the New World. Feared as the strongest creature in the world, he has been captured and sentenced to death countless times, yet no execution has ever managed to end his life. A former member of the Rocks Pirates, he later built a vast crew of fighters, scientists, and beasts that spread across the seas.
From his stronghold on Onigashima, Kaido seized control of Wano Country and cut it off from the outside world, using its resources to build an army of artificial Devil Fruit users. Obsessed with finding a worthy battle, he dreams of a war that will reshape the world, and his rivalry with the likes of Kozuki Oden, Big Mom, and Monkey D. Luffy defines some of the most legendary clashes in the story.
